London Fashion Week 2015
The new 2015 fashion and trends are here with many fashion weeks. The London Fashion Week will begin on 20th Feb and it will complete on 24th Feb. Recently, New York Fashion Week is completed with great success and new trends. Many fashion designers showed their wonderful and best collections. The new collections and designs will soon hit the market. We are looking forward to see more new trends and collections from different designers at London Fashion Week which is about to commence.
What things to look for in London Fashion Week
Mostly fashion shows invite celebrities, fashion industry related people and journalists. But, London Fashion Week will do things differently. The British always opt for creativity. The British Fashion Council (BFC) is supporting a charity catwalk of supermodel Naomi Campbell. The Naomi Campbell’s celebrity fashion show “Fashion for Relief” will show tonight.
The friends and designers of host will take part in the show. The show will have a live auction of items which donated by the Naomi Campbell’s friends, which include several artists, designers and musicians.
Every show during the London Fashion Week will telecast live and you can easily watch it on the official website. The British Fashion Council will also host International Fashion Showcase in the fashion week. In this particular show more than 130 designers from 30 different countries will showcase their work. It’s a great opportunity provided by the British Fashion Council for new fashion designers to showcase their creativity at big scale.
On Monday 23rd Feb, The British Fashion Council will present House of Holland by Gareth Pugh and visual offerings by Jean-Pierre Braganza’s. The River Island is sponsoring it and the screenings from 10am-11am are free to attend and it will follow the first come first get. The River Island and Jean-Pierre Braganza worked with Google to make a film with Google Cardboard, which is a new virtual reality headset.
On Tuesday 24th Feb, The ASOS Talks will begin, where many big names such as Melanie Ashley, Sharmadean Reid and Lou Stoppard will discuss the effort it takes to get into the fashion industry.
